The Authoritarian Political Systems Group is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the 4th APSG Annual Conference that will take place on 15-16 June 2026 at Queen Mary University, London.

The cost of the conference will be of 100€ and will cover the APSG membership and lunches and coffee breaks through the conference. The first round of the after-conference drinks on the 15th will also be on us!

Registration for PhD students will have a reduced cost of 50€ and will include the same benefits. Waivers of the fee for PhD students might be granted on a case-by-case basis.

Papers presented at the conference will be eligible for our newly launched Best Paper Award. The first winner, selected among those presenting their work at our virtual or in-person events in 2025, will be announced at the Conference and get a 200€ prize.
