We announce two Call for Papers every year. To be considered for workshops to be held during Spring semester (January-May), we usually open a Call for Papers in October. To be considered for workshops to be held during Fall semester (September-December), we usually open a Call for Papers in May. Every call runs for 30 days and we do not accept late submissions.

On the selection procedures. For each series, we aim to select eight early-career scholars to present their ongoing research. We invite two established researchers from the relevant fields to discuss the successful applicants’ work at each meeting.

During the semesters, APSG online seminar will be held every other week on Tuesdays 5:00-6:00 PM Central European Time (8:00-9:00 AM PST, 11:00-12:00 AM EST). The workshop will last one hour. After a brief presentation by the author(s), two discussants will provide comments and suggestions. We then open the floor for further questions and analyses from the audience.
